Children's Sunday School and Adult Bible
Classes at 9:15 am
Sunday AM Adult Class: 'The Bible'
Join us in this year-long study of God's Word as we consider the divine message of salvation, using the Roma Downey movie 'The Bible.' Along the way, we will see the drama, discuss many of Scripture's major themes, and compare what God's Word actually says with what many people popularly think it says. Feel free to come at any point during the year, and make yourself comfortable. Expect much discussion, sharing of ideas, and faith-building.
Please meet in the library at 9:30 am.
Preschool through 8th Grade
Sunday school begins its new year on Sep. 10, with our first lesson being "In the Beginning." We are always looking for new children and new parent volunteers. For more information, contact the church office or speak to the pastor.
Midweek Bible Studies

Life is full of journeys. We might even say it is a jour-ney with much that takes place between the start and the end. As Christians we mark this process as a sort of 'exile' that takes us beyond the troubles of this life and leads us to something far greater. Join us as we see how Jesus joins us in our exile, guiding us from the beginning and leading us to a joyful destiny. And the markers along the way?
Jesus Moves Outside
Due to the recent renovation of Timothy's sanctuary, our beautiful 'Cross and welcoming Jesus figure' has moved to the front outside wall of our church building, where he will continue to welcome all to come inside and here the word of God.
One of the greatest treasures we have is the knowledge of our elders. An ongoing ministry to the home-bound gives members of Timothy the chance to share their
faith with people who are eager to hear and share their own experiences. Throughout the year, projects such as sending cards, or sharing cookies, provides an opportunity to meet these great people of faith.
If you would like to learn more about becoming an active part of our social ministry outreach, contact the pastor at 712-323-0693. Thanks, and God bless you.

Equal Exchange Coffee Time
Want a fun and satisfying way to contribute to missions and help the poor? We've switched our coffee to Equal Exchange products. This means we support third-world growers with a 'fair price' for their coffee. This allows them a chance to prosper and re-invest in their busi-ness and community. Also available for sale in the Narthex are bags of coffee beans, supplied by Lutheran World Relief, also in support of these third-world growers. Any additional revenue raised by our free-will offering or coffee sales will go to support one of our designated missionaries as they continue their work of sharing Christ to the world.
Help Even More! If you want to help in a special way with this, think about volunteering to set up and clean up the kitchen counter where the coffee is served. We use Keurig machines, so no brewing skills are required. In return, you get the joy of supporting our missionaries! Talk the pastor if you are interested in learning more.
